- 1 pound medium carrots, peeled
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Cut the carrots into 1 1/2-2" pieces, then cut in half lengthwise.
- In a medium saucepan, cook carrots covered in lightly salted boiling water.
- Drain and remove from pan.
- In the same saucepan combine butter, brown sugar and a dash of salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until well combined. Add the carrots and cook, uncovered, for about 2 minutes or until glazed, stirring frequently.
